Embark on an unforgettable journey to Fiji, where students will be welcomed into vibrant island communities and experience firsthand what resilience looks like in the face of climate change. From traditional ceremonies to village life, this program offers a unique opportunity to connect with local culture while learning how communities are working together to protect their environment. Students will work alongside Fijian partners on meaningful sustainability initiatives, including mangrove restoration, tree planting, and community-based conservation efforts, gaining insight into the challenges and solutions shaping climate resilience in the Pacific.
Expect a program filled with inspiring and memorable experiences, from hands-on environmental projects and cultural exchanges with local schools, to learning traditional drumming, weaving, and Meke dance. Students will explore the natural beauty of Fiji through visits to Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park, eco-trails, waterfalls, and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. This program offers a powerful blend of service, culture, and adventure, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Fiji’s islands.
