What To Expect

Embark on an unforgettable adventure to Mongolia, where students will explore the rich heritage of nomadic life and the vast beauty of the Mongolian steppe. Beginning in Ulaanbaatar and venturing into the open landscapes of Terelj National Park, this program offers a unique opportunity to understand a culture shaped by tradition, resilience, and connection to the land. Students will work alongside local organisations such as GerHub, gaining insight into the challenges faced by communities transitioning from nomadic life to urban environments, while supporting educational initiatives that empower children and families.

Expect a journey filled with meaningful and memorable experiences – from cultural exchanges with local schools and visits to inspiring community organisations, to sharing meals with nomadic families and experiencing life in a traditional ger camp. Students will explore Mongolia’s natural wonders through hikes, visits to iconic landmarks, and time immersed in the steppe, while also discovering the history and energy of Ulaanbaatar. This program offers a powerful blend of culture, service, and adventure, set against the breathtaking landscapes of one of the world’s last great wildernesses.
